Welcome back to class! In the grand evolution of things it’s time to keep changing, baby! This class is now called The Antidote and will incorporate many elements you know and love of Slow + Low but with additional pilates, strength training, and body weight exercises.
The class will incorporate stretching, mobilization, and fluid movements that will warm you up and make your body feel amazing. This is Andrea’s signature class that has been developed over years of movement studies and combines elements of pilates, dance, and therapeutic movement.
Using the glorious Yamuna balls, we will systematically work through the upper and lower body to leave you feeling lengthened, loosened, and aligned. This work is like getting a massage, a stretch, and a light workout all in one.
Join Andrea Y for a little bit of everything to help you tune in to what your body needs and wants. We’ll cover Yamuna Body Rolling, revisit Slow + Low, and get the low down on your pelvic floor.

Welcome back to class! We’re switching slow + low up just a little bit for this 6 week session! This class will incorporate stretching, mobilization, and fluid movements that will warm you up and make your body feel amazing but we’re adding in more pilates and strength based movement to bring the fire.
I'll be teaching a class tomorrow, Saturday January 2 at 10 am MST in celebration of my birthday on the 3rd. The class will be pay what you can and I'll make a donation to SACE: Sexual Assault Center of Edmonton.
This class will be very similar to slow + low but with a bit more pilates and a bit more burn...to (quote Busta Rhymes) "light ya ass on fire"
Classes will then go on a short break but return on Saturday January 16th with our regular slow + low.

slow + low focuses exclusively on mobilization, stretching, body awareness, and bringing a sense of peace to both the body and mind all set to amazing playlists.
Join me for a beautiful class that starts off slow (really slow) and low (on the floor) and then will flow as we wake up our bodies from head to toe. The class will incorporate stretching, mobilization, and gentle, fluid movements that will warm you up. Class will run approximately 75 minutes.
This workshop is designed for partners, caregivers, and anyone interested in developing a caring, helpful touch to alleviate pain and tension. Techniques will be taught without the use of a massage table - we’ll use chairs, pillows, bolsters and work both seated and on the floor.
After 5 years of teaching Movement for Wellness, Andrea has decided to diversify and modify. Slow + Low is all the yummy, delicious parts of Movement for Wellness that you know and love. We’ll focus exclusively on mobilization, stretching, body awareness, and bringing a sense of peace to both the body and mind.
Join Andrea for her very own version of Jazzercise but with better outfits and music. Each week, Andrea curates a new playlist to inspire you to move it move it. We’ll use hand weights, resistance bands, blocks, and body weight for a full body workout.
Join Andrea for her very own version of aerobics all set to the sweet sounds of BEYONCE´. The first 45 minutes will slowly heat us up and get our bodies working. Once we reach maximum sweat levels, we’ll slowly bring things down and enjoy some seriously glowy stretches
Sometimes an hour of Movement for Wellness just doesn’t feel long enough. This class will include all of your favourites and then some. The entire body will be addressed from head to toe. We’ll lie down, sit up, stand up, bend down, and move all around…always with a side of humour to boot.

An evening class to help get you through the rest of your week. Bend, stretch, mobilize and get yourself through the Tuesday blues. All classes will end in restorative movement to help you wind down for the night.
